Michelle De Jesus Carrillo received her B.A. in English Rhetoric & Composition and a Certificate in Legal Studies from California State University of Long Beach. Michelle is a Los Angeles native who has devoted her career to working towards an equitable society that promotes respect and relief for the most vulnerable in our communities. Through her role at Shakhnis Law, she is dedicated to providing support and strong advocacy to protect tenant rights and help in navigating the legal system with clarity and confidence. Michelle will ensure renters who have experienced neglect from their landlords are treated with compassion, care, and utmost respect.
